Danang, a Future Financial Center

This seminar, organized by the Swiss-Vietnamese Business Gateway (SVBG), in partnership with the CCIG aims to present economic potential of Danang city. 

Located strategically as a sea gate to the world, Danang City is the third most important economic hub of Vietnam, after Ho Chi Minh City in the South and Hanoi capital in the North, powering the dynamic growth of the Central and Central Highlands regions. Danang has been earmarked by Vietnam’s leaders for the establishment of an international financial center by 2045.

This coastal city with 1.2 million population is housing nearly 100 universities, colleges and vocational training centers and many strategic economic infrastructures such as deep seaports, international airport, hi-tech and industrial parks, and well-known tourism assets.

Standing Vice-Chairman of the Danang People’s Committee (the city’s government), H.E. HO Ky Minh, the implementer of this project, will with his team be in Switzerland on a 4-day visit seeking potential synergies and cooperation in this respect.

Members of Geneva Lake-based banks, fintech, crypto, IT companies, law and consulting firms are warmly invited to the seminar “Danang - A Future Financial Center” to meet with the Danang delegation and find out your business opportunities in this ‘worth living, worth investing’ city.
