Training - Conference -Digital pollution and how to measure and reduce it in the companies.

  • Friday 11 October 2024 12:00-13:00
  • CCIG, bd du Théâtre 4, Genève
  • Organisation : MIKUJY in collaboration with the CCIG
The digital transition is underway. At the same time, companies are committing themselves to ambitious climate objectives: Net Zero, Carbon Neutral, footprint reduction, etc.

Worldwide, the digital sector accounts for 4% of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, twice the pollution caused by civil aviation. By 2030, its footprint will account for 8% of GHG emissions. It is the fastest-growing pollution sector of all.

Within companies, the digital sector accounts for between 5% and 30% of their overall footprint. The digital footprint is mainly present in scope 3, the company's indirect emissions.

So, have you ever wondered what digital pollution represents in your company? Or how to measure it? Or how to raise awareness among your colleagues? If you have answered yes to any of these questions, then this conference is for you. It will cover the following topics :

·         the environmental and societal footprint of digital in the companies,

·         free tools for measuring your IT footprint,

·         priority digital best practices at work and at home.

The conference will be dynamic, participative and, above all, highly practical. Ready to discover the hidden face of digital technology?
----
Conference participants would benefit from a free IT footprint measurement or at a reduced price, depending on the complexity of their IT infrastructure.

Conference participants will benefit from a 5% on products offered by MIKUJY for 3 months.
