In light of the vitality of Swiss - Italian economic relations, the Geneva Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services (CCIG) is organizing a Market Focus dedicated to bilateral business and cooperation opportunities, in partnership with the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Switzerland (CCIS) and Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE).

As a neighbouring country and key economic partner, Italy offers strong potential in innovation, specialized industries, and cross-border collaboration. This event aims to highlight concrete synergies between the two ecosystems and to foster new opportunities for Geneva-based companies.

A special focus will be placed on the Special Economic Zones (SEZs) in the Mezzogiorno, which are emerging as highly attractive destinations for investment. These zones benefit from targeted incentives, improved regulatory frameworks, and strategic positioning, making them genuine hubs of economic opportunity in Southern Italy.

The discussion will then focus on the Puglia Region, one of Southern Europe’s most dynamic economies. Strategically located in the heart of the Mediterranean, Puglia combines a strong business environment with excellent connectivity, making it an increasingly attractive gateway for international investment and trade.
