Venir en aide à l'Inde
La situation très grave que connaît l’Inde en raison de la pandémie de Covid a généré plusieurs initiatives de solidarité. La CCIG relaie ci-dessous celles qui ont été portées à son attention (en anglais).
International Chamber of Commerce / UNICEF

Heart of India Foundation
Heart for India Foundation is a NGO and acts since 2005 in Chennai - India. Heart for India supports 5 governmental schools and a vocational training center for young women. It is currently funding an emergency oxygen programme. Donations can be made through the website.
Swiss-Indian Chamber of Commerce (SICC)
In the light of the current dramatic situation in India, SICC is assisting the Swiss Embassy in Delhi in coordinating targeted support from Switzerland. To that end, SICC has been asked by both Governments to engage with businesses to find out if there are any supplies or support companies may be able to provide to alleviate the challenging situation in India.
The specific requirement is for:
- Liquid Medical Oxygen along with the cryogenic containers
- Empty, refillable Oxygen cylinders (preferably 10 liter capacity)
- Oxygen concentrators
- In situ oxygen generators plants for hospitals
- Remdesivir, Tocilizumab and equivalent drugs
- Face masks
- Financial support (e.g. in relation to the above).
